The Zone Programme
The Zone Programme is a joint initative between the Talk About Youth Project and the C.B.S Westland Row Secondary School. The programme is currently working with the leaving cert applied student from 5th and 6th year. The Zone Programme is currently been implemented to actively encourage these students to saty in school and deign to be creative and challenging and promote confidence to the young people involved. The over all aim is to design a refurbish a "chill out" area in the basement of the school.
The programme is intended to take place over a six months period, it is designed around specific needs of the young people and it includes teamwork, planning, designing and decorting. It will ensure that the group work cohesively. as an incentive to encourage the group a 3-day residentail designed are team/ group work is to be included.
