Seniors' Care Service
St. Andrew's Resource Centre provides a range of services for the senior members of the community, central to which is the provision of the Day Centre. The Day Centre serves lunch to up to thirty people daily, with an additional twenty people attending the centre in the afternoon to socialise with friends and to avail of the many additional activities, including bingo, flower-arranging and computers. The local GP, a nurse and a chiropodist also regularly attend the Day Centre to offer services and treatments. The Day Centre offers a range of day trips and activities that offer an opportunity for socialising, travel and fun. In particular the yearly 'Mystery Trip to Courtown' is a highlight of the calender.
