St Andrew's Childcare Centre
We offer a full day care service as defined in the child care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations that govern our services and we are inspected under these regulations by Tusla, the Child and Family Agency. We cater for children aged 2 years to 5 years. We open 49 weeks per calander year and daily from 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday. We have capacity to cater for 45 children at any one time. This service is a community-based service operated by the Board of Directors and managed by Moira Hogan.
Our Facilities
We have a fully fenced, well equipped outdoor spaces, Four large, Bright and Spacious rooms, One ECCE room, Healthy and nutritious food cooked on -site, Trained and qualified staff.
Curriculum
We are fully committed to being guided by the principles of Síolta and the national curriculum framework Aistear. We recognise how important high quality early childhood experience can be in childrens's lives. This curriculum aims to encourage active learning, problem solving, effective communication, creativity and socialisation. It aims to give children a good start which benefit their long-term success in life. This service recognises the diversity of experience and relationships that shape childrens's lives.
