Conference in Tbilisi Georgia:
The Manager of our Talk About Youth Project, Susan Menton took part in a conference in Tbilisi Georgia at the end of March through our National Agency (Leargas-Youth Exchange Bureau). It was a 5 Day Contact Making Seminar meeting with countries from the East of Europe with the expectation of possible future partnerships and programmes. Presenting our countries and learning about other countries.
The Conference gave a very good overview of the Youth in Action Programme and various actions available within this. We learnt of other cultures and programmes in action in other countries.
The outcomes were meeting countries further afield to our 'normal' partners for possible future programmes. Also information on how we can further develop different programmes for our young people. It was a very worthwhile, interesting and enjoyable conference.
