New IT Training Facilities Formally Opened

The new computer training room and Cyber Cafe were opened by Minister Ruairi Quinn on the 30th November to mark St. Andrew's Day.
The state of the art facilities were kindly sponsered by HSBC Ireland who were also in attendance on the day and had the honour of cutting the ribbon on the brand new rooms. Both the Cyber Cafe and training room provide top of the range facilities to allow members of the community to access further education and training. The Cyber Cafe provides the perfect space for jobseekers to access the web while the training room allows space for more formal tuition.
Through the generous donation of HSBC Ireland, St. Andrews was able to provide all new computers to each of the rooms, as well as up-date all the associated facilities. Without a doubt these rooms will continue to provide much needed IT facilities for many years to come.
