Talk About Youth-International Programme

19 Feb 2018

Recently, the ‘Stay Human’ Programme gave 12 Young people the opportunity to gather together to discuss experiences and engage themselves in the topic of human rights. Two youth exchanges took place, one in Lithuania tackling ‘Hate speech’ and the second in the Netherlands addressing LGBT+ rights.

Due to the success of the Stay Human programme and the passion by both groups to continue tackling Human Rights issues, the young people have submitted two applications with their European friends.

The chosen topics:

1. Cities of Today: Gentrification and Communities” Youth Exchange– How cities are been taken over and the traditional communities are being outpriced.

2. “Beyond Labels: LGBT+ Rights” Youth Exchange. The ‘All sorts’ LGBT+ group were asked by their European Peers to work on the ‘Dear Me’ campaign on a European Level and educate others on how to run a successful campaign.
